The Cryptid Coffee Camper? What kind of name is that? What does that even mean? There’s a gotta be an About Me page around here somewhere—
Here it is.
Turns out, this isn’t a website run by Sasquatch.
Rats.
Just when you thought you’d found one.
Unfortunately, to the disappointment of many, this writer isn’t a cryptid. My name is Olivia, and I’m a lifelong resident of Washington State. Like most who live here, I spent the larger chunk of my life merely existing here without appreciation for the incredible landscapes, legends, and history. In recent years, however, I’ve developed a love of hiking, camping, and stories in the area where I grew up.
As an avid writer, constantly delving into fictional worlds and supernatural contexts, it occurred to me at some point that I’m sitting on a gold mine of folklore inspiration.
This site is to hold documentation for my exploration, with topics ranging from hiking and camping accounts to local legends and PNW cryptid lore. If you’ve made it this far and plan to remain for the adventure, I hope you find some entertainment in this chronology of life in the Pacific Northwest.
Grab a cup of coffee, spark up your campfire, and have a good read.
